Batista Makes His Return to Smackdown! in a BIG Way

Well I waited for 6 months, and I tell ya it was worth the wait. Batista (pictured here at Wrestlemania 21 winning the World Heavyweight Championship over Triple H) not only called out Mark Henry to the ring, (who injured him in January causing Batista to give up the Championship) but beat the living crap out of him with the ringposts, stairs, and several hits with a steel chair. Mark Henry, who you may remember from the 1996 Atlanta Olympics as a superheavyweight powerlifter, and the self-proclaimed "world's strongest man" was cut open and bleeding profusely from the onslaught. This was only appropriate because Mark Henry had just attacked Rey Mysterio, but had also caused Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, and Chavo Guerrero to be out with injuries. It's kinda like watching the elementary school bully get beat up and loving every second of it. It honestly kinda reminded me of the fight scene from "Friday" when Craig beats the hell out of D-Bow. The best part now is that Batista and Mark Henry will probably have a VERY brutal match at the Great American Bash on July 23 (which, by the way is shaping up to be one of the best pay-per-views in recent memory with the triple threat match with Finlay and Steven Regal taking on Lashley for the US Championship, as well as Booker T taking on Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship, and the one everyone is talking about, the Undertaker vs. the Great Khali in the first ever WWE Punjabi Prison Match). Batista is back, so be very glad and tune in Friday night on UPN to Friday Night WWE Smackdown!- TV that's changing Friday nights.
